Instead of physical meetings, this year, we are holding workshops, courses (and drinks!) virtually. The Ius Laboris University is an opportunity for lawyers to meet colleagues\u00a0from other law firms and\u00a0engage in different activities\u00a0targeted at\u00a0their professional development.<\/p>\n<p>The University&rsquo;s first day is\u00a0divided\u00a0into three parts: first, an introduction to the Alliance and detailing of the resources available for members. Then participants are\u00a0split\u00a0into\u00a0teams\u00a0for an exercise on international project management lead by Hannah Price of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/lewissilkin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lewis Silkin<\/a>\u00a0and Ornella Patan\u00e8 of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/toffolettodeluca.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Toffoletto De Luca Tamajo e Soc<\/a>\u00a0i. If you are interested in learning or improving your management skills for international projects and couldn&rsquo;t join our University session,\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/extranet.iuslaboris.com\/index.php\/university-1\/online-university\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a\u00a0four-module\u00a0starter\u00a0course<\/a>\u00a0is available on our extranet. The third part of the day is a talk on the impact of societal and political upheaval in the workplace by Roman Gil of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sagardoy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sagardoy Abogados<\/a>\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p>On the second day, attendees are invited to participate in\u00a0a\u00a0legal app building workshop moderated by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/community.lawyer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">community.lawyer<\/a>\u00a0&lsquo;s founder Scott Kelly. The community.lawyer no-code platform allows lawyers to quickly automate\u00a0both\u00a0internal\u00a0and\u00a0client-facing processes.
