It is with great sadness that we have to report the loss of our long-time friend, colleague and collaborator, Erik Deur. Erik was a founding Partner of Bronsgeest Deur, our member firm in the Netherlands since 2005. Erik passed away on Thursday 30 April 2020.

Erik Deur was a stalwart of Ius Laboris from the moment his firm joined the Alliance. He collaborated on many international projects with clients from around the world and was co-chair of our Individual Employment Rights Expert Group from 2007 to 2020 and a member of the Events Committee from 2018.

Erik will be remembered with great fondness for his bright legal mind and his contribution to the success of Ius Laboris. We miss him dearly and continue to be inspired by his remarkable talent.
